Computer Help for Hilarious Computer Problems

I recently came across this poem on a site that offers computer help in solving all sort of computer problems. There wasn't a response to this one but I nearly spit out my mouthful of coffee as I was reading it.

Even though I don't know who the author is, it seemed to fit in nicely with Gnomely's Website Help Journal Entries so I thought I'd share it with you all. . .


THE COMPUTER SWALLOWED GRANDMA

The computer swallowed grandma.
Yes, honestly it's true!
She pressed 'control' and 'enter'
And disappeared from view.

It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus

Or been eaten by a worm.

I've searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I've even used the Internet,
But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online.'

So, if inside your 'Inbox',
My Grandma you should see,
Please 'Copy', 'Scan', and 'Paste' her,
And send her back to me.

Can't you see your elderly family member who is constantly baffled by the computer, never mind surfing the internet getting swallowed up by the internet! What a mental image this poem creates.

Simply hilarious!

I'd love to hear other comical stories on giving computer help. (Maybe even some that actually solve computer problems that many people find challenging). . .

Don't we all need a great laugh now and then?
