Can you really learn how to build a website if
you are
completely computer "e"lliterate?
Well, I have to confess to you that I happen to be the most
technologically inept person on the face of the earth. So
much so that my brain cells start to hurt at the mere suggestion of
"techie talk" or "geek speak".
So I quite understand how you feel since I've taken a very
long cyber stroll in your virtual shoes contemplating
similar concerns when wondering if a completely non-tech savvy person
can actually "do it!"
For the longest time my mind wrestled with thoughts that
building a
website must be so hard
and complicated that only the most tech savvy kids or cyber geniuses
can do it!
Not to mention that my own confidence in my ability to attempt
to build a website took a savage beating. Just between you
and me, if I had to be brutally
honest I would have to confess that. . .
(For goodness sakes I can't even figure out how to retrieve voice mail
on my cell phone!)
Frankly, the thought of building my own website scared the beejeebers
out of me on the one hand but on the other seemed to be a very
practical and exciting answer to my need to have a new hobby and
interesting challenge while earning a little extra income to boot.
So in a nutshell, my answer to you is a resounding YES!
Of course you can build a
website! Anyone can.
If I can, you can too.
Let me show you how.
Don't worry, I'll hold your hand and walk you
through building your
first web page.
It's my own little invention of a quick and easy 3
minute website class that I've prepared for you.
You get to play around building your own web page!
I've created a very short and simple web page template for
you to practice with. . .
All you need to do is fill in the blanks.
You can even add a graphic if you want to! Just choose a
photo
that
strikes your fancy from your own computer and upload it to your sample
web page!
