The Tale of the Three Little
Websites and the Big, Bad, Hairy Search Spider
What are the best search
engines web sites?
You know, the ones that attract the attention of the search spider and
the web search engines web crawler so your site earns top web site
ranking.
Well I'm happy to tell you. Me. None other than the master
of the mysterious ways of web search engines. The infamous
Gnomely,
Webmaster Extraordinaire, Cyber Whiz and friend to any web crawler or
search spider who comes my way.
Once upon a time. . .
There was a Cyber Mother with three little websites.
Because she did not have enough gigaspace to host them any longer, she
sent them out to explore the World Wide Web in hopes that they would
find their fortunes.
"Please Mr. Webmaster,
would you be able to quickly and easily get me
my own address and build me a site on the internet?"
Which the very kind looking webmaster promptly did.
Shortly thereafter;
The big, bad, hairy search spider came
crawling along.
The first little website called out to the spider:
"Oh spider, oh spider, do
come in. I'd like you to show my brand new
site on the internet which a very kind looking webmaster made for me
ever so quickly and easily."
To which the web crawler spider replied:
"Not by the spines on my
eight indexing legs. I can't be bothered with
lightweight websites that don't have a strong foundation built on
hearty content and delectably juicy keywords."
The first little website cringed and cried:
"But I'm not just full of
fluff, ads and other crappy stuff.
Please reward me with a top web site ranking so I can join all the
other search engines web sites that have found a secure place on the
WWW."
The
spider simply snapped its mandibles in search of better fare, leaving
the first little website to wander aimlessly about cyber space without
any ranking what-so-ever to entice clicks and visitors.
"Please Mr. Webmaster,
would you be able to get me my own address and
build me a beautiful site on the internet?"
Which the webmaster with his bag jammed full or tricks promptly did.
Shortly thereafter;
The big, bad, hairy search spider came
crawling along.
The second little website called out to the spider:
"Oh spider, oh spider, do
come in. I'd like you to show my beautiful
new site which a webmaster made for me using his bag jammed full of
tricks."
To which the web crawler spider replied:
"Not by the spines on my
eight indexing legs. I can't be bothered with
tricks, gimmicks or tomfoolery on websites that don't have a strong
foundation built on hearty content and delectably juicy keywords."
The second Little Website cringed and whined:
"But I'm not just full of
fluff, ads and other crappy stuff.
Please reward me with a top web site ranking so I can join all the
other search engines web sites that have found a secure place on the
WWW."
The

the second little website to wander aimlessly about cyber space without

Which the rather studious webmaster promptly did after researching and
developing a comprehensive plan. The third little website helped the
webmaster, working side-by-side through countless long, hard days and
nights until they got it just right.
Shortly thereafter;
The big, bad,
hairy search engine spider came crawling along.
The third little
website called out to the spider:
"Oh spider, oh spider, do
come in. I'd like to invite you to enjoy my
new site on the internet which a rather serious webmaster helped me
build until we got it just right."
To which the search engine spider replied:
"The spines on my eight
indexing legs are tingling in anticipation. I
can't wait to explore and index your site that is clearly built on a
strong foundation of hearty content and delectably juicy keywords."
The third little website gasped and exclaimed:
"Well, gracious me, I
certainly hope you didn't expect to find any
fluff, ads or other crappy stuff here. I worked very hard so my
site would be rewarded with a top web site ranking so I can join all
the
other search engines web sites that have found a secure place on the
WWW."
The spider rubbed his mandibles
together in delight as he paused in his web crawler search and moseyed
on in for a

he had sampled in cyber

The third little website smiled in a
relieved yet satisfied sort of way as he clicked off his mouse to enjoy
his just
desserts of a search engines web sites highest honor; top web site
ranking.

spend hours exploring his virtual haven of never ending hearty content
